Abstract:
The chrysalis oil is in a fluidization state, yellow - brownish coloured,
easily fat - miscible, having a freezing point ranged between 0 and 8o C and an
optimum peroxide index consisting of neutral triglycerides with a composition
well balanced between saturated and unsatured fatty acids.
The product is very well characterized as a compozition highly rich in active
principles, resulting in significant therapeutical properties.
Its producing method consists in the organic - solvent extraction of comminuted
chrysalis over a well established period of time, the obtained extract is then
filtred and the solvent is two - phased removed, afterwhich the usual
preservative is added and then it is packed.
